• For children of all ages
Type:
• This is an ice breaking game. This game is to be played at the beginning of the class, to get the children know each other.
Materials:
• Children’s and teacher’s photo
Steps:
• Ask the children to bring their photos of themselves.
• Also prepare your own photo.
• Ask the children to sit down or stand up in a circle.
• Show your photo and shout out your name. Afterwards, show each child’s photo and ask the photo’s owner to take their photos and shout out their names loudly.
• Next, ask the children to exchange their photos while shouting out their names so that they are getting to know each other. Do it several times.
• The class atmosphere should be warmer afterwards.
Suggested sentences:
• Look! This is me. I’m Eno!
• Hello!
• Hi!
• Nice to meet you.
