Feeling line up
This game is to be used in English classroom setting.

Feeling line up: Main Activity Game in English Classroom for Young Learners


  • Age 3-5 
  • Main activity game
  • To develop children’s ability to identify meaning 


Materials:
“Feelings” flashcards (for older children, vary the flashcards with more “feelings”)

Procedures:

  • Give each child one flashcard.
  • Ask them to make a line. 
  • The child who stands up at the front line ask her friend who stands up behind her, “How are you?” The next child answers based on the flashcard he holds. 
  • That child then ask his friend who stands up behind him, “How are you?” That next child on the third row answers based on the flashcard he holds.  
  • And so on. Up to the last child who stands up at the end of the line. That last child asks the first child with the same question.
