Clap Three Times: Closing Activity Game in English Classroom for Young Learners

Clap three times

• Age 2-4 
• Closing time game
• To develop children’s concept of numeracy

Procedures:

• Ask the children to stand up/sit down in a circle. 
• Ask them to clap their hands (Clap your hands!).
• Afterwards, ask them to clap their hands while counting. Ask them to follow you. For instance: Clap your hands once!, Clap your hands twice! Clap your hands three times and so on. 
• Do it several times.
• Once they get the rhythm accelerate the calpping tempo. Have fun!
