This game is to be used as main activity in English classroom for young children

Finger Painting 1: Game for Main Activity in English Classroom for Young Learners

Age group:
• Age 3-4

Type:
• Main activity game

Objective:
• To develop children’s ability to count 1 – 5

Materials:
• Poster paint or food dye
• Thick paper

Steps:
• Ask the children to make their finger prints and toe prints.
• While printing, encourage them to count (one, two, three, four, five)
• At the end of the activity, ask them to count all prints that they have made (teacher’s prompt is needed since the counting could be more than 5).
